Biography

My research focuses on manufacturing and supply chain digitalization by design and application of information systems (currently in a food security project). I use systems thinking and the design science approach to managing complex operations in Industry 4.0 with the industrial internet of things. My PhD thesis is titled "Enabling the smart factory with IIoT-connected MES/MOM".

I have degrees in mechanical engineering and 5 years of work experience in the industry and consulting prior to my PhD.
