In this talk I will describe our research in mobile phone sensing and wearable technology to understand user behavior as well as our analytical efforts on analyzing geographically tagged social network data to research mobility and interaction. I will give examples of practical projects run in collaboration with researchers from other disciplines and describe my future research agenda.
