The Department of Earth Sciences, University of Cambridge seeks to appoint an Assistant Professor in Climate Modelling. We encourage applications from individuals with expertise in the use of numerical modelling to understand the Earth's climate system, with an emphasis on the use of numerical models to translate our understanding of the Earth's past climate system into solutions to Earth's present and future climate challenges. Candidates who are, in addition, able to apply their numerical modelling to the study of climate systems on other planets are also encouraged.
