The 2026 ICCS Summer School will bring together Schmidt Sciences-funded VESRI teams and external researchers for a week of collaborative, hands-on learning and expert-led sessions.

What happens at an ICCS Summer School? 
The programme will feature a blend of:

Keynote seminars and panel sessions
Training and technical workshops
Scientific presentations
Collaborative and social events.
You will receive tuition and guidance from leading experts at the University of Cambridge. Attendees are expected to attend all parts of the programme.

Apply for an ICCS Summer School bursary

We are delighted to announce that in 2026 the ICCS Summer School is opening registration to postgraduate students and early career researchers from across the UK and beyond. If you would like to attend and need some support to cover the costs of registration and travel, please apply to our bursary scheme.

For successful applicants, the bursary will cover the full registration fee (which includes subsistence and accommodation for the duration of the event) and up to £200 in travel costs.
