Applications are now open for Cambridge Enterprise’s Translational Funding Ideas Incubator (TFII).
Do you have a research result or prototype ready for real-world application? Want to learn more about how to move beyond the research phase?
In the Lent Term 2026 Cambridge Enterprise will be running an Ideas Incubator programme for academics and researchers from the School of Physical Sciences and the School of Technology. It is designed to guide them through the critical steps of research commercialisation, offering hands-on insight, mentorship, and practical tools like presentational skills training.
The technology or innovation must originate from research conducted at the University of Cambridge. PhD students can join in a team with a postdoc or a PI, and participation is free. The programme thrives on diverse perspectives and experiences. We encourage women and individuals from underrepresented groups to apply.
You can find out more about the programme, and apply, via this link:

Deadline for submitting the application form is 12 December 2025 at noon. The programme starts in February 2026.
