The presentation will provide an overview of early digital preservation practices in order to contextualise how we best move forward in the brave new digital world. It will touch on what are the feasible expectations we can have when trying to preserve bits and bytes for future access, the impact of crisis of trust around digital and finally considerations as we move forward in the era of big data.
