3x funded research projects - Data Analytics Call: Wellcome Leap The First 1000 Days research programme
Wellcome Leap The First 1000 Days research programme: A fast-paced and dynamic Wellcome Trust LEAP 1kD project on early brain and cognitive development. This interdisciplinary research programme will develop lab-based and portable scalable tools - including dyadic-EEG, eye-tracking, motion-tracking, speech and video analytics - for the measurement of the effects of social interaction on infants' developing cognition and executive function. You will join a dynamic and friendly international consortium, based at the Department of Applied Mathematics and Theoretical Physics and working closely with Associate Prof. Victoria Leong in the Baby-LINC lab at Nanyang Technological University (Singapore) and Prof. Zoe Kourtzi Cambridge, (UK).
Applications are open for University of Cambridge Early Career Researchers, Researchers and PIs to apply for one of three research projects.
Deadline 5pm Monday 23 January 2023
- Project 1: Automated Video Analysis of Movement Synchrony in Parent-Child Social Interactions
- Project 2: Deep Phenotyping Modelling of Parent-Child Neural Sociometrics
- Project 3: Predictive Modelling of Development of Child Executive Function
Please contact us if you have queries about the research: Prof. Zoe Kourtzi (zk240@cam.ac.uk) and Ellen Ashmore, Project Manager (coordinator@c2d3.cam.ac.uk).
