Applications for ComSciCon’s 2026 Flagship Workshop, a science communication conference for graduate students taking place from July 7-10, 2026 in Bordeaux, France, are open!
ComSciCon empowers future leaders in science communication to share their research and passions with broad and diverse audiences. At our Flagship Workshop, graduate students have a one-of-a-kind opportunity to meet early career leaders in science communication, learn from and interact with a remarkable group of invited experts, and produce original work communicating complex technical concepts from science and engineering to a new audience. About ComSciCon Flagship 2026:
• Current doctoral students in STEM fields are eligible to apply. Doctoral graduates who defended their thesis less than one year before the workshop are also eligible.
• ComSciCon will be held in person on the campus of Bordeaux & Bordeaux-Montaigne Universities.
• There is no fee to attend the workshop. ComSciCon will cover all costs of lodging and meals and provide partial travel support.
• If you are facing the possibility of international travel issues, please apply for the event, and we will discuss options with accepted applicants post-selection.
