The Trinity Challenge Town Hall - Panel discussion

Wednesday, 24 February 2021, 4.00pm to 5.00pm

On 24 February, we are delighted to host our first virtual Town Hall, a two part event with a high level panel discussion and a Challenge Q&A session - and we want you to be part of it! Join us to hear from our panel of world leading experts about why data is the key to identifying, responding to, and recovering from global health emergencies. We’re also giving you the chance to ask our panel, your questions, so don’t miss it.

Panel discussion

The panel discussion takes place from 16.00-17.00 GMT / 08.00-09.00 PST on 24 February. For details on how to register for the panel discussion, click here.

This session will be chaired and moderated by Hala Audi, The Trinity Challenge CEO and Dame Sally Davies, Chair of the Board of The Trinity Challenge and former England Chief Medical Officer. We are excited to announce that they will be joined by:

  • Karen DeSalvo, Chief Health Officer at Google
  • Vilas Dhar, President at Patrick J. McGovern Foundation
  • Hemant Ahlawat, Senior Partner at McKinsey
  • Sam Scarpino, Assistant Professor at Northeastern University

This is a public event and we welcome the media, interested members of the public, and prospective Challenge participants.

Other events - Challenge participant Q&A sessions

If you are a prospective Challenge participant, we’re also holding two Q&A sessions focussing on the submission process and awards criteria, in which you can ask any process related questions, ahead of the final deadline of 15 April. During these sessions, there will be a presentation on the submission process, and an overview of the judging criteria and awards process. To accommodate time zones, Challenge participants and prospective participants are invited to join one of two sessions taking place on 24 February. For details on how to register and to submit your questions, click here.

  • Our first session will take place prior to the public town hall at 09.00-10.00 GMT / 17.00-18.00 HKT.
  • The second session will follow on directly from our public town hall at 17.00-18.00 GMT / 12.00-13.00 EST.
