The Department for Science, Innovation & Technology are opening the first of a series of structured research calls offering 200,000 and 1,000,000 GPU hours compute access to AI for science researchers through the AI Research Resource (AIRR). They are supporting projects and programmes in the UK’s priority domains for AI-centred scientific research, as set out in their AI for Science strategy.

Deadline for applications is 16:00, 21 December 2025.
