C2D3 Steering Committee membership appointment (x2): PhD Student and Early Career Researcher 2025

C2D3 are inviting applications to join our Steering Committee. We are appointing one PhD student and one Early Career Researcher (ECR).

About the committee

The Steering Committee meets three times per year online and provides recommendations towards our programme of work. We also use the opportunity to share news from across the University. The current members of the committee can be found on our About Us webpage.

Opportunity

As a PhD student or ECR, you will provide the committee with information, observations and points of view that represent your communities. It is important that C2D3 creates work programmes that meets the needs of all communities. From the opportunity you will gain an insight into Interdisciplinary Research Centre governance and gain committee experience.

We welcome applications from individuals across all Departments and Schools at the University, especially those from disciplines not traditionally associated with data science or AI.

Eligibility

PhD student: you must be a current University of Cambridge PhD student. From the date of application, you should have at least 1 years remaining on your PhD programme.

ECR: you must be a current University of Cambridge ECR. From the date of application, you should have at least 1 years remaining on your work contract.

Term length and attendance

The term length is 3 years and is renewable. The term length requirement is relaxed for students and those on fixed term contracts, whose term shall end upon termination of their contract or studentship.

Steering Committee members are invited to attend all meetings of the Committee. If a member attends less than one meeting per calendar year, their membership shall be reviewed.
