Are you interested in accelerating novel interventions for the early diagnosis of cancer and risk stratification of individual at risk of cancer? Applications are invited for a highly motivated Clinical Research Associate to join a state-of-the-art translational research programme headed by Professor Rebecca Fitzgerald and Dr Massimiliano di Pietro, focusing on novel endoscopic and non-endoscopic tools for the early detection of early upper GI neoplasia.
This is an exciting opportunity to join a cutting-edge research group at the University of Cambridge. The Fitzgerald group is passionate about finding innovative ways to detect and understand cancer from the earliest stages, with a particular focus on oesophageal and gastric cancer. Our team leverages a comprehensive research infrastructure and cutting edge clinical facilities to study minimally invasive and endoscopic imaging techniques aimed at improving early detection of cancers of the oesophagus and stomach. The team has a wide range of scientific collaborations with Physicists, Engineers and Data scientist with the aim to foster and multidisciplinary approach to early cancer diagnosis.
