OPEN: Internal Bioscience Impact and Knowledge Exchange (BIKE) Fund

The internal Bioscience Impact and Knowledge Exchange (BIKE) Fund is now OPEN. Up to £20,000 is available per application for projects of up to 6 months duration. This fund is for individuals employed by the University of Cambridge as researchers (post-PhD). The deadline for applications is 23rd October 2026 at 16:00.

 

This funding call is new and broader in remit than our previous calls. We welcome ALL impact project types with underpinning research in bioscience and human health impact projects seeking to influence policy; please check the full remit and scope of the call here.

 

A wide range of impact and knowledge exchange activities can be funded, for example: stakeholder engagement; policy workshops; prototype development for commercialisation, testing models in real world settings etc. Funds can be used for directly incurred costs such as salary, consumables, travel, or workshops etc.
