Data-Driven Management & Digital Consulting Masterclass

Learn together with unicorn Celonis what the Management of tomorrow will look like in a world that is more digitized than ever. Celonis helps organizations track their internal processes based on digital footprints in IT systems. With this Celonis, has turned into the market leader for Executive Management Technology with customers like Unilever, Coca Cola or BMW. Celonis uses Process Mining technology as well as different AI and ML capabilities to reveal insights into what is happening in an organization and to provide direct recommendations.

In this masterclass you will learn about trends in Digital Transformation and Data Driven Management and how process-oriented data science can facilitate an analytical viewpoint internally in an organization. You will furthermore gain business user skills, learn to use the Celonis software and how to use it in a management and management consulting context.

This Masterclass will run as a joint initiative of the Cambridge Centre for Data-Driven Discovery, the LSE Digital Skills Lab, the LSE Data Science Institute and Celonis. The Masterclass will start on 23rd November and participants are welcome to study at their own pace! A certificate will be awarded to successful candidates at the end of the 3 weeks.

Target audience

University of Cambridge (and LSE) staff and students only. Open to everyone interested in data science and its impact on business. Suitable from undergraduates to researchers, and anyone in between.

Prerequisites

No prerequisites. An understanding of information systems and Business Process Model and Notation (BPMN) can provide a good basis, but this is not a requirement.

Format

The format of this masterclass is a blend of live online workshops with a tutor, and self-paced online learning.

Live workshop dates (UK time): The kick-off workshop will be held live on Monday 23rd November, 16:00 to 17:30. The final workshop will be held live on Thursday 10th December, 15:00 to 16:30.

Self-paced online learning: We estimate approximately 5.5 hours of online learning between 23 Nov-10 Dec.

Certificate of successful completion

Participants can receive a certificate of successful completion for the masterclass (this will not be equivalent to the Celonis Process Mining Expert qualification).
