Data Science for Science Residency applications now open

Accelerate Programme

PhD students and postdocs at the University of Cambridge can apply to join a 5 week training programme developed by the Accelerate Programme and Cambridge Spark to learn how to use data science in their research. The course starts on 27 February combing taught classes, individual mentorship, and a self-study on topics including Python , data processing and visualisation, Web Scraping, JSON and API and an introduction to machine learning.

The total cost for the course is £2,100 + VAT and for this cohort part funding is available through the Accelerate Programme reducing the cost to participants to £1,050 + VAT.

The course starts on 27 February for 5 weeks and involves a commitment of 30 hours per week, combining teaching and self-study.
