The Institute for Technology and Humanity seeks to appoint a Teaching Associate (1-year) to assist with teaching our MPhil course in Human-Inspired AI.

Educated to a PhD level, the role holder will have core technical expertise in human-inspired AI in the areas of computational social science or human-computer interaction. Successful candidates will have prior experience of teaching delivery and ideally also of the design of teaching materials. They will have excellent presentation and communication skills.

The role holder will contribute to course development, teaching and examining for the MPhil in collaboration with the Assistant Professors and existing Teaching Associate. They will work with the Postgraduate Administrator to monitor student attainment, wellbeing and feedback, and undertake other administrative duties commensurate with the grade of the role. They will also Represent CHIA's courses at the ITH Equality and Diversity Working Group (WIDE) monthly meetings.

The successful candidate will be based at the Centre for Human Inspired Artificial Intelligence.
