BBSRC and EPSRC have announced the 2020 TRDF Transformative Research Technologies for the Detection and Diagnosis of Plant and Animal Diseases call.

 

The aim of the call is to support the early-stage development of cutting edge, high-impact transformative research technologies for the detection and diagnosis of plant and animal diseases, and in particular infectious agents with zoonotic potential. It will support applications for early stage technology development and research into novel techniques and technologies with the potential to enable transformative changes in research capability.

 

Applications must be between 6 and 18 months duration and are not expected to exceed £150,000 (£187,000 100% FEC).

The Cambridge Centre for Data-Driven Discovery (C2D3) brings together researchers and expertise from across the academic departments and industry to drive research into the analysis, understanding and use of data science and AI.
